Piece 1: ‘If Only’ The music has been inspired by Baroque Period features ; luscious harmonic and melodic lines written over a Ground Bass; a Concerto Grosso type set up with a main string section and 2 soloists; use of suspensions adding emotional intensity into the music.

Piece 2: ‘Wake Up’ A fun piece of music that is fast and exciting.  The main feature of this piece is pizzicato playing, imitative conversations between the instruments and the change of mood in the second section (G major to a modal scale based in E).
